Ballinger, TX has some great family fun events coming up at the end of April, the Lonestar Market and the 48th Annual Texas State Festival of Ethnic Cultures. The Lonestar Market
This year, the Lonestar Market takes place on April 28th and 29th at the Mohair Warehouse located on Railroad Ave in the heart of Ballinger. The market will be open Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm. Not only will the front of the building be lined with great shops, but the old cotton warehouse will have its three floors full of vintage, home décor, boutiques, jewelry, handmade items, and so much more. This vintage market features many different vendors as well as the delicious Queen B Café located in the warehouse. If you enjoy meeting small and large businesses or being involved in the community, this is a great event for you and the family.
If you plan on visiting from San Angelo or any other surrounding areas, there are a couple of hotels nearby so you can enjoy the full weekend of events.
The Annual Ethnic Festival
Also taking place that weekend is one of Ballinger’s greatest events of the year, the 48th Annual Texas State Festival of Ethnic Cultures. This festival will take place Saturday, April 29th from 10am to 4:30pm on the Courthouse Square at 613 Hutchings Avenue, Ballinger, TX.
Ballinger is proud of its heritage and different ethnicities in the area and shows its appreciation for the community every year with this celebration. This event is a day full of entertainment, a parade, ethnic food booths, arts & crafts, kid games, and more! The parade will take place Saturday morning and there will be entertainment on the lawn throughout the day including Indian dancers, Old West reenactors, and local musicians.
