1. Pro

The Pro is a work-spec truck, ready to roll up its sleeves and get the job done. It comes with a 310-horsepower turbo engine, although you can upgrade to the optional 5.3-liter 355-horsepower V8 for extra muscle. Three bed configurations are available: a short bed for parking in tight spots, a standard bed for everyday versatility, and a long bed for when maximum capacity is a must.

2. SLE

The next trim is the SLE, which upgrades the Pro with a 13.4-inch infotainment screen paired with a matching 12.3-inch gauge cluster, heated driver and front side passenger seats, a heated steering wheel, and steering wheel-mounted controls. It also has an auto rear diff lock that steps up when the traction is low, plus the GM MultiPro tailgate that improves loading, unloading, and accessing the cargo box.

3. Elevation

This trim includes several interior and exterior additions, such as paint-matched bumpers, extra storage in the back seats, LED fog lamps, and unique 20-inch aluminum wheels. In addition, the Elevation can be optioned with leather, a Bose premium sound system, a power sunroof, and wireless charging.

4. SLT

The SLT takes the Elevation trim, wraps it in chrome, and makes its optional features standard. But it doesn’t just stop there. It adds heated power outside mirrors, rain-sensing automatic wipers, and memory settings for the driver’s seat and outside mirrors.

The All-Terrain 4WD, or the AT4, is built for those who love the great outdoors. Some of the upgrades you can find here include a turbo diesel engine with lots of torque, a heavy-duty air filter, a two-inch factory lift, and underbody skid plates.

6. AT4X

This model is a little more off-road capable than the AT4, thanks to its superb shocks, 33-inch tires, and rear and front lockers. It’s got a nicer interior, too, comprising full-grain leather seats, double stitching throughout the cabin, heated and cooled front seats, an upgraded audio system, and a head-up display.

7. Denali

The Denali is a couch on wheels, designed for extremely smooth day-to-day driving. It has a signature grille, open-pore wood trim, carpeted floor mats, and a suspension that can absorb road bumps like they never existed.

8. Denali Ultimate

The Denali Ultimate is the Sierra 1500’s crown jewel, and it pulls no punches when it comes to lavish features. It builds on the Denali and adds front massaging seats, a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine, upgraded leather, a head-up display, and more.
